Why Uttishth Bhārat ??

" The most beautiful thing in the world is, of course, the world itself. "
---------------------------------------------------
Namaskar,

Uttishth Bhārat is an effort to explore and look back onto the journey of this Creation, transformations and evolutions Humanity has gone through and is constantly going. It is an initiative to investigate and critically enquire into the major as well as minor junctions we have gone through and in the way take a glance at our own Legacy so formed.

But, naturally a question arises - if the theme of the Study is the Journey of this existence as a whole, why consider only 'Bhārat' as the very title of the Blog. Therefore let us be very clear before we commence with anything else, what is exactly meant by 'Bhārat' ? The word Bhārat comprises of two Dhatus:- 'Bhā' and 'Ratah'...literally meaning a chariot progressing towards Jyotih (Bhā) or Bright Light. Often it is (rather is) misunderstood as a name of a country with certain geographical criterias (so is the word Hindustan). In a broader and more integrated sense, Bhārat also refers to a proper alignment of Bhāva-ga-la.
Bhāva essentially means Sensation out of which rises Emotion. Right now whatever we perceive as life is through our sensory apparatus and therefore Bhāva.
Rāga refers to the Tune. Our bodies are structured in such a way that we all are in a Tune with the Cosmos and Human body's configuration matches with the settings of the Universe. For Example: Womens' Menstrual Cycles (occuring in 28-30 days) are in sync with the Lunar cycles (Moon's revolution around Earth; 27.5 - 28 days). When a proper Tune is set and we are aware of this connection and work in that direction, we get oriented towards a friction-free life.
Thereafter, Tāla or rhythm comes into picture. Tāla also means a Time Range. Ours' is a game of Time and Space within which we function according to our tendencies, isn't it? If we pick up the rhythm right, ours' is a wonderful life and if we miss it, we would get crushed in the midst of these forces. Therefore, Bhārat is not a proper noun pointing towards a nation rather it is an ongoing process. With the baseline as Bhāva, striving to set the Rāga right so as to pick up the Tāla correctly is what is known as Bhārat. When our ancestral legacy utters "Bhāratvarsha" it speaks of an all inclusive state of well-being and Grace. The people constituting this planet and beyond, wherever they live, whatsoever be their culinary, linguistic and dressing patterns, we all are but the descendants of Thy Immortal Bliss called as 'Bhārat'. When we speak of the entire Existence as a whole, the word Bhārat therefore naturally emerges out as the most appropriate salutation. However, for the sake of convenience and local administration, several places of settlements have been referred to by specifically distinct names; viz. The civilizations thriving on the banks of R.Mississippi and R.Amazon as the Americas, stretch of land from Mediterranean upto the Madagascars as Africa, pinpricks of islands in the Pacific as Indonesia and so on. Geography and History plays an important role in the nomenclature of these regions. However, identifying ourselves strongly and exclusively as an Arab, Japanese or an English will not do anything but rift apart valleys of despair and hatred .
(One may also refer to Swami Vivekananda's lecture dated 15th of Sept. 1983 on:- "Why we Disagree?"..check out the link for the same:-. Link for the Pdf file of the address).
From the highest flights of love and inclusion to the meanest depths of agony and selfishness, everything needs to be considered and properly addressed.
This effort of ours is to look back upon our Consciousness and it's journey through the shades of Time. This approach of ours aims to transcend the very idea of 'I' and effectively and collectively try to enter into a blissful and ecstatic dimension ahead.
As it might be clear by now, this is not a platform where 'I' will try to teach or say something for 'I' knows very very little. A single alphabet, isn't it? Rather this should be the platform where 'we' will collectively investigate, explore, discuss, observe, listen and understand a variety of facets of this big Sphere popularly known as Life. Neither by agreement nor by disagreement but we will just observe and listen and understand. The way we look at the Sun, we neither accept it as a dogmatic religion nor do we disaccept it as a negligent creature....exactly the same way we will investigate into our own eternal journey. The study continues......🙏
